We are two friends and wedding professionals who saw a need and came up with an idea. What if it were possible to have a swoon worthy wedding within the DMV for less than $10,000 dollars?
Sounds to good to be true, right? Wrong! This is where this grand idea was born. We see the beauty within the commitment that our couples make to each other, and we feel that everyone regardless of time, finances, or family deserve to have a celebration worthy of their love. Because after all, your love is worth it! Whether you imagine your big day atop a mountain, in a historic garden, or at a beautifully established wedding venue, we are your women! We’ve come to realize that all of this is entirely possible here within the DMV, and we would love to show you how.
Delia-Anne Biondi
Delia-Anne Biondi is originally from the Northern Virginia area. She has been in the events industry as a wedding planner for over 10 years, executing flawless and thoughtfully curated events. Her repeat clientele trust her to deliver seamless events from the wedding day, to their first baby shower. Delia-Anne places a high priority on creating a lasting legacy that families are proud of, which has earned her a stellar and reliable reputation in the very saturated DMV wedding space.
Some of Delia-Anne’s favorite wedding moments are getting to know the couple more through the stories shared whether it be in personal vows, wedding toasts, or just the families reminiscing on the past. She has a curiosity and love for people, their backgrounds, and what makes them unique.
Some of her favorite hobbies are riding horses, caring for her three dogs, and snowboarding. Anything that takes Delia-Anne outdoors is something she will most likely be interested in. With a deep love for her family and friendships, she finds joy in creating gatherings to foster those relationships. She loves to throw a party for any reason at all. It could be your dog’s birthday or your son’s fifth birthday party, either way she is your girl!
Shauna Ploeger
Shauna Ploeger has become one of Virginia and D.C.'s most prolific and recognized wedding photographers. Over the past 14 years, her work has taken her from Panama, St. Maarten, Scotland, Texas, and multiple states in between. Using both film and digital mediums, her work has a timeless and candid appeal. Residing in the hunt country of Virginia at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, most of her inspiration comes from the outdoors. Shauna's work has been featured in multiple press and online publications, including The Knot Magazine, Washingtonian Weddings, Martha Stewart, Southern Living, USA Today, Luxury Modern, and many more. While these accolades are a feather in the cap, her true joy comes from her happy clients turned friends.
Some of Shauna’s favorite wedding moments are when the couple is getting ready for their walk down the aisle. The feeling of anticipation is palpable and she loves the excitement leading up to the big moment. Shauna also loves the vow exchange. Don’t be surprised if you see her crying along with your family and friends. Tissues are always at the ready and waterproof mascara is a must!
Some of Shauna’s favorite hobbies are skiing in the winter months with her children, trying out new recipes from Martha Stewart or the New York Times, and spending time with her three dogs. Shauna and her husband enjoy spending time working on their property, fly fishing, and hosting family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. While she can hardly believe it herself, she just celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary with a fly fishing trip in Idaho!
